Speech Pathologist at Bynum School

Job Description

Bynum School, a faith-based private school serving children and adults who have special needs, seeks a part time speech pathologist. The purpose of this position is to provide speech and communication therapy for children and adults.

Primary responsibilities include assessing students, evaluating diagnostic reports provided from outside sources, and preparing individual and group therapy sessions.

Additional duties include documenting student progress, maintaining Individual Program Plans and helping classroom teachers implement communication and speech strategies in classrooms.

Job requirements include Master’s degree in Speech-language Pathology, valid state license or certification, experience with children and adults who have special needs, ability to lift or position children and adults, ability to work well with children and adults, ability to communicate effectively with staff, parents, and students, ability to maintain accurate and detailed records, and valid Texas driver’s license.
