Objective: To advance the mission of Unlock Ministries to create a mentoring community for at-risk students to discover their value and unlock their potential. This is a leadership team role and requires a person to be a Christ-like leader skilled at organizing, communicating, coordinating volunteers and accomplishing tasks efficiently. This role requires problem-solving skills, the ability to make decisions and work together with the leadership team. This role is a behind the scenes role and requires good computer skills, the ability to work with word processing software and databases, and the ability to coordinate schedules and maintain a professional work environment.

Job Responsibilities:
Administration: Support the Executive Director by helping to organize, coordinate logistics, communicate & follow up with volunteers and detail program events. This includes but is not limited to: orchestrating registration, overseeing administrative interns, collaborating with the leadership team on events, coordinating volunteers for various events and pitching in to help get jobs done etc... Oversee and manage the client and donor databases and create reports as needed. Oversee the camper application process (accurately input camper applications in a timely manner and communicate effectively with them & their school Counselors). Oversee volunteer coordination and following through to ensure volunteers are trained, background checked and aware of their responsibilities. Track key statistical data in order to show that we are effectively reaching our goals. Mail, review & compile surveys after camp & the Blessing Banquet. Oversee and work within the approved administrative budget. Other duties as assigned.

Communication: Mail, email, text or phone calls to high school leaders, adult mentors, school counselors, board, campers & parents, and community organizations in a timely manner in order to prepare our team for events, meetings, retreats and camps. Write letters, thank you letters to donors & mail outs for ministry programs as needed. Create and mail reminders to various teams regarding upcoming events. Build healthy relationships with our clients, volunteers and donors. Communicate with the Executive Director and team about people details to help build trust with the people we serve.

Leadership: You must be present to lead. You will be expected to help lead at events like: Op Camp, Op Champs, meetings, training retreats, staff parties, Christmas banquets etc. Add value to the ministry by being a leadership partner and sharing your thoughts & insights to improve & develop Unlock programs and processes.

General Expectations: This role is considered a ministry role and requires a lifestyle approach to succeed. It is a salaried position and will require 40 hours a week. The Administrator will primarily be in the office during office hours.
