Insurance and Payment Coordinator (Part-time) at Agape Counseling Services of West Texas

Job Description

Agape Counseling Services of West Texas is seeking an individual to fill the position of part-time Insurance & Payment Coordinator in their Midland Texas office. The following skills are needed:

  • Ability to obtain insurance eligibility and benefits verification.
  • Experience with Insurance Claims, including sending out first time submissions, resubmissions, and follow-ups.
  • Ability to accurately enter patient demographics, insurance information, and claims related data into computer software.
  • Ability to communicate with patients in office, by telephone, and via email regarding the status of their billing paperwork, claims, and insurance plan coverage options.
  • Ability to accurately enter client payments, Insurance payments, local payer payments along with write-offs and scholarship payments.
  • Experience in billing clients.
  • Prepare Clinician Calendar’s for Collectibles.
  • Attention to detail & time management skills are a must.
