Bookkeeper at SHARE

Job Description

 POSITION OBJECTIVE Working under the supervision of the SHARE Executive Director, the Bookkeeper will support SHARE’s mission by managing the finances and payroll objectives of SHARE. The Bookkeeper will be responsible for recording and reporting financial and payroll records. The bookkeeper position is part-time (20 hrs./week).

Bookkeeper Duties
Data entry of visa receipts and deposits into Quickbooks
Reconciliation of credit card charges
Code all deposits and credit card charges
Reconciliation of bank statements
Make sure all deposits and ACH transactions have back-up
Send financial reports to the treasurer for review
Complete Texas DSHS monthly vouchers and quarterly reports
Collect and record employee hours worked and PTO semimonthly and report to the payroll service
Mange payroll through ADP
Assist with collecting documents for the audit
Perform other duties as assigned

401K: Employees may enroll after one year of employment with SHARE. SHARE will match up to 3% of the employee’s salary

PTO: The employee may accrue 9 days per year of PTO. PTO will begin accruing on the employees first day of work. The employee will be able to use PTO after 3 months of employment.  Flexible hours

Holidays: Holidays include New Year’s Day, Good Friday, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Friday following, Christmas plus one day, and one floating holiday.
